The Beginner 2.0 and 2.5 clinics have been very well received and our new players have been asking for more!!! So…here is the offering of clinics for September. If you have already attended one of these clinics that is ok…your instructor(s) will be changing up the program slightly to continue your individual improvement path.
Adult Beginner – 2.0+ Tuesdays September 2, 9, 16 6-7 PM
If you have successfully completed our 2.0 Clinics then participating in the 2.5+ lessons will help beginners who feel they are ready advance their skills and to improve their game. We will be building from the foundational skills learned in Beginner 2.0 and will add other shots like; 3rd shot drops, drives, blocking and lobs to the shot arsenal. Court positioning and moving effectively with your partner will also be introduced and practiced during our scrimmage games.
Schedule: Tuesdays, September 2, 9, 16 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Courts 1 and 2
3 lessons – one lesson per week – one hour per lesson.
Fee: $30.00 for all 3 lessons
Adult Beginner – 2.5+ Mondays September 8, 15, 22 6-7 PM
Available to all members who are just getting started and are still learning the basics.
Schedule: Mondays September 8, 15, 22 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Courts 1 & 2
3 lessons – one lesson per week – one hour per lesson.
Lessons will focus on: basics including proper grip and stance, paddle control, basic footwork, serving and returning, groundstrokes and dinking. Participants will also learn game essentials like scoring, court positioning and basic game rules. All practice/drilling will be fun and active and there will be live games with feedback from your instructor.
Fee: $30.00 for all 3 lessons
