AAZPC Beginner and Advanced Beginner Skills Clinics November - 2.0 Tuesdays or 2.5 Saturdays

Registration

  • Available to all members who are just getting started and have either never played pickleball or are still learning the basics.
    3 lessons – one lesson per week – 90 minutes per lesson.

    Lessons will focus on: basics including proper grip and stance, paddle control, basic footwork, serving and returning, ground strokes and dinking. Participants will also learn game essentials like scoring, court positioning and basic game rules.

    All practice/drilling will be fun and active and there will be live games with feedback from your instructor.

    Fee: $60.00 for all 3 lessons
  • The 2.5+ lessons will help beginners who feel they are ready to learn and practice additional skills to improve their game and will build off the foundational skills learned in Beginner 2.0 and will add other shots like; 3rd shot drops, drives, blocking and lobs to their arsenal. Court positioning and moving effectively with your partner will also be introduced and practiced during our scrimmage games.
    3 lessons – one lesson per week – 90 minutes per lesson.
    Fee: $60.00 for all 3 lessons

The clinics have been very well received and our new players have been asking for more!!!  So…here is the offering of 2.0 and 2.5 clinics for November.  If you have already attended one of these clinics…your instructor(s) will be working with you to continue your individual improvement path.  If you think you are ready to move up to the next skill level...ask your instructor.

Adult Beginner – 2.0+  Tuesdays November 11, 18, & 25 - 5:00 - 6:30 PM

Available to all members who are just getting started and are still learning the basics. Lessons will focus on introduction to the game including:

  • proper grip - stance - basic footwork 
  • paddle control and angles
  • serving and returning, ground strokes and dinking. 
  • Participants will also learn game essentials like scoring, court positioning and basic game rules.  
All practice/drilling will be fun and interactive and there will be live "scrimmage" games with feedback from your instructor.  Joseph Rosales will be your instructor.

Fee:   $60.00 for 3 lessons - one lesson per week - 90 minutes per lesson 

Adult Beginner – 2.5+ Saturdays November 15, 22, 29 -  2:00 - 3:30 PM  

If you have successfully completed our 2.0 Clinics or have been playing for a short time, then participating in the 2.5+ Clinics will help players who feel they are ready advance their skills and continue to improve their game.  We will be building from the foundational skills learned in Beginner 2.0 and will add other shots like:

  • 3rd shot drops

  • drives and ground strokes

  • blocking and resets
  • offensive and defensive lobs 
  • working through the transition zone

Court positioning and moving effectively with your partner will also be introduced and practiced during our scrimmage games.  Tamara Armstrong will be your instructor.
Fee:   $60.00 for 3 lessons - one lesson per week - 90 minutes per lesson
