Come to the general meeting of AAZPC.  Pizza, drinks, dessert will be served.  Learn more about AAZPC, its finances and budgets, elections of new Board Directors, and voting on ByLaws changes.  Meeting to be held at the Anthem Community Center (near PB courts).

A notice will be sent on 2 weeks before the meeting.

Congratulations to Andy Olson who recently became a  “USAPA Certified Referee”.  Andy is the first AAZPC member to have achieved this status and designation. To become a  USAPA Certified Referee  you must complete many countless hours of volunteer work refereeing at local and regional tournaments.  Andy has refereed over 400 sanctioned matches during his training and passed the written testing requirements.  He has received the distinguished honor of being invited to referee at the 2019 Margaritaville National Pickleball tournament being held at Indian Wells in Palm Springs, California November 1-10.

The ACC courts are ready for play.  A stadium court has been made into 4 regulation size courts with dividing fences, new paint, and beautiful turf.  Check them out if you are a resident of Anthem Country Club.

The Anthem Community Center is now offering the pickleball machine for $10/hour plus optional court time (during busy times).  Check out with the Anthem Community Center - they will even set it up for you.

40++ players enjoyed Skills & Drills for the soft game on Sat, April 27.  Thanks to Jack Kraemer and his team for a job well done!

Thanks to Diana Robinson and Ken Anderson for their expert party organization and planning.  And, to Gretchen Bender and Scott Stooker for providing this year's great venue!  And, to Joan Boyll for membership registration, and, of course, to Chuck Goshgarian for our great pics.  Raffle prizes, $$ given away, and good food by Tennessee Grill.   Thanks to all for attending.  We have a fun group of pickleballers.

Jack Kraemer led 40 AAZPC members through 2 hours of drills on the 3rd shot drop and transition.  Thanks to Jack and his helpers for improving each of our games. (Oh, and Boro's thumb joined us, too!)
